Here is the story:
First some cutting to the existing housing of the router.
Then making a lens from acrylic glass.
Left: new lens and changed housing. Middle: I2C OLED 128×64. Right: TL-WR703N with 4 extra wires attached to get I2C support.
(Background: A very stable and ultra high detail 3D printer from my friends -> Protoworx TINY)
Lens and display glued to housing, display connected to router.

UP3D Super-WIFI (luxery UP! 3D Studio compatible wireless upgrade – still cheap)
Some days ago I spent some time with my friends from Hackerspace Frankfurt and Protoworx.
